Hello history buffs. I'm an 11th Grade US history class, when the class i was covering for 10th grade Global 2, a student pointed out a line about pre-ww2 Italy. The text read that prior to the war, there were people who dressed up on three kinds of face paint, but it was vaguely described. I wasn't sure what it was in reference to: did the anti fascists color their faces, did those targetted by the facists have their faces marked.

Has anyone heard of this? I couldn't find it anywhere on google.
