The fall of Granada in 1492 seems like quite an anticlimax for the Muslim world given the fall of Constantinople in 1453, so I was just curious as to whether there was an attempt by Muslim powers in the Eastern Mediterranean to support those in the West.
While I can't speak to earlier contacts I've written here about relations between the converted Iberian Muslims (moriscos) and the Ottomans after 1492. In brief the moriscos made calls for help to Egypt and the Ottoman Empire, and while the Ottomans considered an Iberian invasion it was never carried out.
