Everytime you see or read something about any war of the 20th Century, the topic of PTSD comes up, I was wondering if soldiers in Medieval times also got PTSD since the fighting was more up close and personal back then. Or is PTSD more related to the constant bombardments the those wars saw (shellshock)?
We get this question a lot! It's usually about ancient soldiers but the answers should apply to medieval warfare as well.
