I read an article on the dutch news website volkskrant.nl , it was about a painting by Edgar Degas in the Van gogh museum. Now the writer made a parable between the naked woman in the painting (which symbolises the free woman) and Kibadj Hatun. When i tried to look up Kibadj Hatun i could find nothing about her online. Does anyone know if the protrayal of her on the website is accurate? I will directly translate the part about her, so you guys have acces to the information (because the article is written in dutch):
Kibadj hatun, leader of the Turkish city Bukhara in the 7th century; with the red of henna in her hair, wide hips as the symbol of the birth of a million children that kept the memory of her great struggle alive up untill this day.

Well it seem that owner of the author write his fantasy. And make some many errors.
Kibadj ??? He couldn't translate her name correct. yet he call him self Turk:)) the name you are looking for is "kabac hatun" (qabaj khatun) other names "Kınık hatun"(oghuz tribe name) , "buhara melikesi" (queen of buhara). Old turkish tradition it was common to have women ruler also queen had always word in important matters. Which is why every kurultaiy(toy) begins with in the name of Khan and Khatun...
That picture does not represent" kabac hatun" because she was known his horseback riding and and slender body, also henna hair :)))) not correct ancient turks use henna as medical treatment against diseases. Not as hair color hairs. But they always uses reddish hoods. old turkics does nor show nor they shower in the daylight. because they thought that evil eyes will make them suffer which is why they bath in dark.
