What do japanese high school students learn about world war II and especially the japanese surrender?

I’m not sure if here’s the right sub since my question is not really about history, but about historiography.

As for my question, I’m thinking about historical revisionism (the japanese textbook controversy particularly), the yasukuni shrine and so on- thus I wondered what every japanese hs-students normally is taught.
