I think it’s pretty widely accepted that this is what happened to him, but there are also convincing arguments that he escaped Berlin. The show ‘Hunting Hitler’ has claimed that the skull fragment in Russia is actually that of a woman, and not Hitler, which is what was always claimed.

Hitler certainly had the means and avenues to escape, and also the means to destroy any evidence of his body after his death. So it leads me to the question, does any evidence exist of his body that was recovered from the bunker?
