One thing that I have always been wondering about the Bosnian War is how the Bosniaks manage to hold their ground while being under an arms embargo, while their enemy, Republika Srpska, was getting a lot of military equipment from Serbia, which at the time held the entire War Industry of former Yugoslavia. Not to mention the Croats trom the south. The city of Sarajevo is a riddle as well, on how the Serbs did not manage to take it because they blockaded the city and launched frequent mortars attack on it almost every day. Was it just plain luck that saved the Bosniaks? Or was it just the High Morale and Patriotism?

I'm a Bosniak from Sarajevo and my uncle was in ARBiH during the war. The thing that mostly helped us is our numbers since we had a lot more people in the army because we are even today numericaly superior to others. High morale was certainly The case also
