If the Germans made an atomic bomb, were they planning to test it, and if so, where?

Were they going to detonate it in an occupied area, like Norway?

They did not have an atomic bomb production program, and were not anywhere close to the place where you'd need to figure out whether you needed to test it, much less where.

To put it into perspective, in the US the Trinity test was not put into any serious planning until about a year before the bomb was ready to use. By that point the US had already been committed to building the bomb for over a year. The Germans never made that commitment.
