My fellow americanos: back in my youth I (M43) scaled a mountain in Rome and declared that one day I would liberate my continent, América, from the hated gachupines. And I did. Come on, who else accomplished this in history? Napoléon (my hero!) was good but even he had to crown himself. Over here it was independence all the way. And don't even get me started on Alexander...
To rewind, so things started out complicated: I basically tried some resistance against Spanish rule from my native Venezuela which didn't work out, ended up in jail. The next attempts went more smoothly and me (with my army) started taking over some of the Spanish audiencias. Of course all in the name in our young king Ferdinand (M21). So some of my generals did good work and even had some cities named after them (not a country like me, sorry compañeros).In short, we won.
I ended up meeting halfway this guy José (M48) who had done some good work in the viceroyalty of Río de Plata (took it over). But he had some lame plans of installing a monarch, so passé, and so ended up legging it Europe. There can only be one Libertador, imho!
Entonces things started going downhill quick: nobody was into my advanced and changing political solutions for the continent; and my old military buddies were suddenly presidents of new nations and didn't have time for me anymore (not my fault I'm just better looking...). So heading home now, my economical situation isn't exactly rosy.
And that's the gracias I get amiright? Am I?

YTA. I get it, you tried. But sounds like you didn't carry through on your promises, so did you really leave it in a better place?

YTA, you gotta have plans to keep stability in the land if your gonna do something crazy like destroy the government that exists man. You should've had more sober aspirations and been more honest with those around you. Being broke seems a fitting end to your experience here.

You tried your best, and your intentions were pure and true. Obviously your talent is the military command. The fact that slaves can't be freed is mostly an economic issue.
Perhaps some day it will be possible. What you accomplished is the first step towards that noble goal.
YTA because a criollo rebellion that doesn't free the slaves is not a real revolution. It just means you want to be the oppressor instead of the Bourbon crown.
