Hello! I am currently working on a thesis paper on how the jewish population (germany in particular) coped with the aftermath of the holocaust and how they rebuilt their traditions and institutions despite oppression of the general public. And if they "choose" to leave europe for good, where did they go and how were they accepted by the people in the places they immigrated to. What were ways for people to resume back to their normal life?

I have done some research into this but if anyone has more input about this topic I would be thrilled to talk to you or if anyone has any family that would be willing to share their story I would be all ears!

I had reached out to a local synagogue but due to the coronavirus I won't be able to follow up with them as easily so I decided to reach to a wider pool! I hope to hear from some of you soon!
