Hello! I am a university student who is doing independent research into female education in Japan during World War II. I have looked everywhere for research, including JSTOR, Google Scholar, etc. but have found nothing specifically detailing the goals of the government in relation to female education, the opinions of the women experiencing the education, and the impact that this education had.
I had plans to go to the Tokyo National Archives, money and everything, but with the virus, that has gone out the window.

I should mention that a lot of prior research I have done has dealt with Japanese war brides, so I have tons of research dealing with women and education post-WWII, specifically during the occupation.
Sources that deal with the years 1930-1945 would be the best.
