You might want to cross-post this on /r/genealogy. People post look-up requests for the various genealogy services all the time, and people even offer to do them sometimes unsolicited. There some very knowledgeable users there, and even for stuff that is unavailable online, they are often quite helpful with pointing you to where the records are kept, and the process of how you can request them. In some instances, the process is free or requires a rather nominal fee. Though for others, there can be a fee involved.

One place to start is with the free service (when you sign up for a free account) FamilySearch.org. They have quite a lot of records online, though I don't know if any of their collections is relevant to what you're researching. But they do have a blog post about researching British WWII military records.
