My roommate thinks Atlantis was in the Richat Structure - is there any validity to this theory?

No seriously. I've brought up all sorts of debates - mostly that the Richat Structure is nothing more than an eroded mantle plume. I don't have any stronger than that. Smarter people than me, please explain why one of us is wrong,
