Hi /u/Cogalibre. Just wanted to clarify -- is there any period in particular that interests you? I started writing a reply, but it's weighted toward the international response to the 1994-1998 famine. International aid organizations and Western governments have some reasonably good data for this period that gives some insight into the complexity and difficulty of dealing with the Kim regime. However, I realized that the famine may not really count as a human rights violation in the same sense that the concentration camp and songbun system do, so I'm unsure if that would really answer your question?

(Though I'd argue that the famine should count as a human rights violation; NK's economic and agricultural policies are at the bottom of it.)
