I have found a lot of research on the Great Migration, however, a lot of the websites seem to say the same thing. I am trying to find the lasting impacts of the Great migration on America. I have found a lot about the Harlem Renaissance but that's about it. I'm not looking for anyone to write this for me, but to send me in the right direction of what I should look for or research.

The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson is a fantastic book on this subject. I think it should be required reading in all high schools, and I think there is an abridged version for students, but the full book is wonderful. She talks about the migrants to NY, of course, but also Chicago and LA. It also lays out the social difficulties they faced as they moved north and how those laws and prejudices still impact Black people and neighborhoods today.
