These are three sources I used when writing an answer a year ago about racism and segregation against Filipinos. These would be very useful for understanding at least some of the kind of racial injustice Asians have faced in the US specifically. Many of the common conceptions and stereotypes about Asian men and women can be traced in part to reactions against Filipino migrants, and in particular white men feeling threatened by Filipino masculinity.
