It appears to be a lady who's about to be murdered by her husband, and an african kid/slave in the background? A picture in an old swedish castle.. and in almost every painting people seemed to fight eachother, how come?
Do you happen to know the title and/or creator of the painting? If not, perhaps which castle it is in? I'm potentially willing/able to take a stab at interpretation, but since I don't recognize the work off hand I will need more information.
