WW2 NUCLEAR BOMBS. Why was Japan the only nation to be nuked? Why didn't they also drop a nuclear bomb on Germany and Italy? Was any racism involved in the decision? Like was it more comfortable to drop bombs on Asian people than white Europeans that at least believe in some form of Christianity?

Italy surrendered to the Allies in September 1943.

Germany surrendered to the Allies on the 8th of May 1945.

The Manhattan Project successfully completed its first trial of a working nuclear warhead - the Trinity test - on the 16th of July 1945. This was the earlist that the device materials could be prepared, having been brought forward specifically so that the test could be carried out before the Potsdam Conference, held in occupied Germany.

If the US had decided to nuke Germany, they'd have ended up killing a lot of Allied soldiers.
