Do we have enough information nowadays to say he was a black man, or is that a stretch, and we cant be sure of his color ?
I have been trying to do some research on the topic, just for curiosity, but cant seem to be able to find any information that makes my mind, maybe because that information doesnt exist.
Ps : I know this question has been asked once before, but wasnt satisfied with that post’s answers.

Siddhartha Gautama was born (most likely) around 500 BC in Lumbini, which is now in modern-day Nepal, although at the time was part of a series of Mahājanapadas which spread across Northern India. Grombrich identifies Guatama as a member of the Iron Age Shakya kingdom. Levman's 2014 'Cultural Remnants of the Indigenous Peoples in the Buddhist Scriptures' identifies the Shakya as a non-Vedic (i.e. non-Aryan) indigenous people of Eastern Sub-Himalayan India.
So no, Buddha was not a black man.
