As the title says... Interested in fully diving into the history of these people .... their legacy, origins, the change they underwent on their way from central asia to europe etc...
Hi, sorry it took a while to reply.
There have been a lot of works on the Huns in recent years, but most have been in the form of papers on the archaeology, linguistics, etc.
The best overview is probably Dr. Hyun Jin Kim's work "The Huns, Rome, and the Birth of Europe."
On archaeology, Istvan Bona's 2002 "Les Huns" is the best overview of the Huns in Europe, but it is in French (there is an older version in German as well).
There are also many papers on the Huns over on Academia.edu. Check out the works of historians and archaeologists like Michel Kazanski, Alexander Vovin, Christopher Atwood, and there are many others. A lot of them are on linguistics and the Hun-Xiongnu connection.
I hope this helps.
