Egyptian has no punctuation of any kind. Egyptian sentences use interrogatives to indicate...interrogatives. Most types of questions can be expressed using an interrogative pronoun, such as the common Middle Egyptian ptr, "what," which is actually a contraction. In rare cases when the question is a simple predicate ("are you my mother?") the interrogative jn or jn-iw is used, but it isn't necessary and isn't very common.
