Just for clarification, do you mean gambeson/leather armor like the wool-based protection used in Europe or the more prefered Ichcahuipilli (a layered armor based primarily on cotton and other asorted materials) that was more commonly used by armies in the Triple Alliance (Aztec) or in Tawantizuyu (Inca)?
