Just your neighborhood Soviet_Ghosts with some exciting Conference news. We are a day away from the start of the AskHistorians 2020 Digital Conference. So make sure you all get a good nights sleep, do not spend too much time in the hotel bar before the big day tomorrow, and get ready for some exciting panels tomorrow. As we get the tables sorted, the chairs organized, and the lights adjusted.
I have just arrived from the printers with the program hot off the press. In it you will find our welcome message, the schedule for events, easter eggs, and details on each panel. So, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy your complimentary program to the first ever AskHistorians 2020 Digital Conference; Business as Unusual.
This is easily the fanciest conference programme I've ever seen, and yet the one with the least copies printed. UNFAIR.
Just to follow up. I was the Creative Lead on the Conference. I did the event graphics, and was the Chair of the Marketing and Outreach Committee. As such I made the program which is why I got to post about it today! It was a lot of fun to see the conference go to paper and definitely made it more real that we were doing this.

For the networking events, will the same individuals be showing up at both sessions each day? If you guys have any set people to be in attendance. I know the Redditors signing up will vary. I'm not used to conferences so sorry if this is a weird question.
Also, would you guys mind if I only use the chat feature via text, if Remo utilizes one? I understand if not, I'd just feel more comfortable not being on mic.

The program is really nice btw! Love the picture for the Mass Destruction panel, reminds me of something you'd see from Fallout.
On page 6, it says "'Acdemic' Networking Session." Is that a typo?
