Hello fellow Redditors, hope your having a wonderful day! I am an agnostic atheist and I like to have an open-mind when it comes to religion. Although I may not believe that the events in the bible took place, I can’t help but think why the bible seems fictional to me. I believe in the information found in history books? What makes a “history book” that you would find in a high school different to the bible, and what makes said history book a seemingly more reliable source of historical information compared to the bible? I am not trying to start a political debate of any sorts, which is why I refrained from posting this question in a religious or atheist forum. Thanks in advance for any responses!
