Was the "Bronze Age Collapse" an Indo-European phenomenon, and if so, did it pertain to Iran, India, Balto-Slavic, and Germanic lands? Did this occur because of a shift away from Bronze and towards Iron/Steel?
The Bronze Age Collapse sounds as if all civilizations went dark for a while. How could switching from one material to another cause a collapse in civilization, if this is the case?
