I don’t think so. I have never seen or read anything to suggest it. The delay in entering ww2 was soundly because the American people did not support the war. While there was considerable concern about the Soviet Union in the United States it did not become widespread until the end of the war or after. FDR was very worried about the survival of the UK so he was trying to get into the war as quickly as possible.
