I'm trying to find a telegram, mention by a Mr. Kevin Van Tassel that details the local post man in charge of Vernal, Utah, writing a particularly dumbfounded telegram to a higher up (around 1914, (presumably to a Mr. Sydney Burleson). I'm really deadset on reading this telegram, but my efforts have only led me to the esoterically labeled Files 1 and 3, of box 2L136 at the Briscoe Center in Austin, which claims to have a collection of correspondences and telegrams of Burleson's. I don't think I can get to them because of world events and all, so I'm wondering if any of you guys might be able to help me, or give me advice on how to, find this telegram?
On the About page there is a link for requesting materials. Librarians and archivists are very helpful people and will often be able to get you what you need. Sometimes there are fees for requests like this but you may be able to get some sort of copy for free. When going through archives like these, always reach out to an archivist! Often, they will also know some about what you are researching and point you to more sources.
