Hi, i’m a student and am creating a webcomic in my free time which involves several character from various eras of history, and i need to design outfits and a room for them. the only problem is that sources for fashion and interior design are hard to come across. Do any historians know where i would be able to find this information?? thank you !!!!

If you’re looking for some great sources for fashion history I highly recommend Fashion: The Definitive Visual Guide, it was my textbook for a year and has an excellent general overview of European styles. As for online resources, I would recommend the Fashion History Timeline to begin with. If you want to get more detailed however, you can always search for extant garments or fashion plates on the many archives available online. I hope this helps!
