Hello, I was in discussion with some people on discord today, we were discussing political ideologies. My ideology fits into the "egoist" category and someone commented on one of my points that Stirner was of imagination by Engles. I am doing an investigation on this subject and I wish for some insight/direction.

There certainly is more room for discussion [and potential for someone to comment on the origin of this controversy], but to heed off a flood of answers that are not conform witht he rules, Max Stirner did exist, lived from 1805 to 1856 and was actually named Johann Caspar Schmidt.
