How to find books with an unbiased account of history?

by Scoopofmilk

I've just read multiple articles about how history in text books are usually very biased, having a protagonist and antagonist. How do i find history books that do not have this "us vs them" view? I want to learn about history as it was, not how it is presented by a specific country for their goals.

Sorry if unclear, english is not my first language.

While it's certainly true that history as taught in schools often has an explicitly societal and nationalist agenda of some sort, the vast majority of academic history books are not written in an aggressively "us vs them" style. All of them, however, have points of view, and none is free of "bias".
