I’m a Land owning Noble in medieval Western Europe. Right now there aren’t any major wars going on locally but the fields and crops worked by my peasants are getting raided by bandits which is putting a dent in my coffers. How would I go about dealing with said bandits??

Asking only because i wondered if there was some higher authority I could take this issue up with? Or if contemporary Nobility would simply take it upon themselves to deal with the matter given the fact that this the time before any sort of national police Force
