German map of Europe https://imgur.com/gallery/frG2D3l Hi everyone, can I ask for assistance from somebody on this subreddit? I'm trying to find out, which year this map is based on and if anyone else knows about the history of this map?

All I know is, I found this map in an old workshop in Northern Ireland and i don't know how it got there. If anyone would be able to tell me a wee bit about it would be greatly appreciated? Thank you in advance.

Edit: I'm sorry here is the link to the images of it. I don't know how reddit works clearly...

I'm not familiar with this particular map, but we can probably make some decent guesses on when based on the changing political boundaries.

Since the German Empire, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire all still exist, this map is pre-1918. However, looking at the borders in the Balkans, it appears that this map shows boundaries prior to the First Balkan War (1912-1913) and it has Bosnia as part of Austria-Hungary, which occurred in 1908. However, Bosnia had been under Austrian administration since 1878, so that's hardly a firm date as a map maker could well have colored Bosnia as part of Austria-Hunagry even prior to the formal annexation.

Coming at it from another direction, we see that there is an independent Bulgaria and Serbia, this means the map likely post-dates the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878. Looking north, we see an independent Norway, which occurred in 1905. With that in mind, we can probably narrow this map to between 1905 and 1908 at its narrowest, and 1905 to 1913 at its widest. Playing it safe, calling it an early 20th century map of Europe should suffice.

I'm certain someone more knowledgeable on European cartography in this period could offer more information, but that's my analysis based solely on the borders.
