I’ve read it and I have to stress this with any Rommel work: there is too much myth surrounding him. The author himself is dubious to say the least and the only other work I read by him was The German Defeat in the East 1944-45 and that wasn’t the most reliable book in the world. It’s really hard to find a unbiased book on Rommel due to him being the center of the Clean Wehrmacht myth.
