How closely did Unification and Death work with the Serbian government? Would the government have known about Young Bosnia and the plans to assassinate Ferdinand?
A question that shall continue to haunt the fringes of writings about the origins of the First World War, we cannot say for certain whether the Serbian government knew entirely of the plan by Gavrilo Princip and his fellow would-be assassins to kill Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Though Unification and Death certainly worked with the approval (and at times support) of the Serbian government in past actions, this previous response should help show that by 1914 (and especially with regards to the assassination plot), this endorsement was not quite so clear-cut.
