To what extent was the Orthodox Church ransacked and pillaged by the Catholic Church? I've seen online that the crusades were not only an assault on the Arabs, but also the other middle eastern religions of the time.

I know Richard I invaded Cyprus, and also got married there.

Also what was the general western view of the Eastern Orthodox Church and the countries which it existed in (Turkey, Cyprus, Lebanon etc.)
