Is the book “A Distant Mirror: The Calamitous 14th Century” a good book to know about life during the 14th century? I heard contradicting records on its historic value.
Thank you!
This isn't a complete answer for you, but I asked a similar question a ways back, and got some feedback, notably from flairs u/sunagainstgold and u/Valkine.
***and if it’s not a good representation of the 14th century what book would you recommend on life in the middle to late medieval era?
