Israel/Palestine Podcasts

by ChewyTKE609

I have known for a long time that I'm woefully uneducated when it comes to Israel and Palestine. With the recent missile slinging I thought now would be a good time to remedy that. I have looked at the sidebar and I see a wealth of threads I can read up on from this subreddit, and I'm not asking for it to be explained here.

What I'm really after is suggestions for podcasts that go over the history of the area and then explains the politics, tensions, and history of fighting. I don't know where I stand on the issue and I'd like good unbiased source to really be able to make up my mind. I'm looking for podcasts (or other audio) because I have more time to listen to things than I do to read.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there anyone interested in recommending things to OP! While you might have a title to share, this is still a thread on /r/AskHistorians, and we still want the replies here to be to an /r/AskHistorians standard - presumably OP would have asked at /r/history or /r/askreddit if they wanted non-specialist opinion. So give us some indication why the thing you're recommending is valuable, trustworthy, or applicable! Posts that provide no context for why you're recommending a particular podcast/book/novel/documentary/etc, and which aren't backed up by a historian-level knowledge on the accuracy and stance of the piece, will be removed.
