What are some good history blogs?

Any blogs that go into good handling of historical topics, the way the British Library does it with their medieval manuscripts blog?

I'm a big fan of The History Blog. It's a one-stop shop for succinct, smart, well-read summaries of various interesting bits of historical and archaeological news. No particular theme - although it leans slightly towards ancient European stuff - just whatever the author finds interesting.

Adam Carter Bremer-McCollum has a blog called hmmlorientalia that talks "about manuscripts and the languages, literature, scholarship, and history of Christian culture in the Middle East." Pretty interesting articles—one suggestion is to read the very short article he has about how Satan is written upside down in some Christian manuscripts!
