The book list (https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/wiki/books/europe) recommends The Ghost of Freedom: A History of the Caucasus by Charles King. I haven't read it myself, but it looks like it probably focuses more on the southern Caucasus. Might be worth checking out though if you can't find something more specific.
