Names and fate of the B-17 crew that arrived in Roxas City, Philippines? Their plane crash landed in Masbate but they proceeded to Panay Island.

I would like to ask if anyone here knows the aerial war activity in the province of Capiz, located in Panay Island, Philippines? I would especially like to know the names of the B-17 crew Milton Walter Meyer mentioned in his book, Letters Home : The Meyers & Capiz 1919-1943.

I want to know the names and the fate of the B-17 crew that arrived in Capiz in December 22, 1941, if they had survived the war. Meyer's book only mentions this, but doesn't mention anything else.

I'd like to try and help, but would ask if you have any further information. Was Milton Walter Meyer a member of the crew, or is he simply the author of the book? If Meyer was a crew member, do you know his rank or his job? If Meyer wasn't part of the crew, do you have the names of any crew members?

Is there any information on the type of B-17, or perhaps a photograph? A tail number on the aircraft could potentially provide all the information we'd need. Barring that, is there any information on their unit (ie, the 22nd Bombardment Group, 9th Bombing Squadron, etc.)? Any other information about what they might have done before or after this mission, such as when they departed for the Pacific?
