I have been trying to find a answer on how long the voyage would have been and I have found nothing. Honestly I would be happy with just how long it would to reach Indonesia from Europe at any point during the age of sail.
At 1670-79 the average was 245 days:
-140 days from Amsterdam to The Cape
- An average of 26 days of stay at The Cape
-79 days from Cape to Batavia.
As comparison, Seville to Veracruz (Mexico) spanish route lasted 75 days on average, but the return travel lasted 125 days (by less favourable winds).
