this golden age produced very famous ppl like khwarizmi(mathematician), ibn sina(doctor), ibn firnas(first person to make a plane prototype, died trying to fly on it) and many more intellectuals without whom the modern world wudnt be so advanced. Now getting to the point, mental illnesses were thought to be evil spirit possessions.
