Looking for economic books

I’m looking for any economic books that show the before, during, and after the nazi party’s influence in Germany

While you are waiting for more expert opinions, I would recommend Austerity: The History of A Dangerous Idea by Mark Blyth which covered this topic to an extend in one large part of the books.

It is not a book about Nazi Germany but the idea of Austerity since the rise of capitalism in the 1700s. He argued that austerity, which is a terrible (yet popular due to its common sense approach) economic policy, were a driving force for the abandonment of democracy. He discussed at length about what Germany did after the wars that allowed it rise to a economic powerhouse. Professor Blyth book focused on debunking commonly-held myths, (like the inflated wheelbarrow of cash) and would likely go against most accounts of historians not versed in economic histories.

I would suggest Adam Tooze's The Wages of Destruction. It provides a compelling argument for generally revising downwards our estimation of German economic sophistication, both before and after Speer. It also helps makes some sense out of the decisions of the Nazi government in terms of maximizing their chances, given the impossible and insane task they had set themselves.
