During the reign of these two incredible caliphs of Baghdad, the movement of translation of texts ( about algebra, logic, medicine, theology, geography, metaphysics, astronomy, astrology, alchemy and the list goes on) was astonishing as there were funds and people of expertise were highly paid for translating previous books and creating their own work, particularly at the House Of Wisdom. However, we've heard about men a lot in this field, I know many women have participated in them as history states (such as Fatima Al Fihrya later on and also the teacher Rabiia who used to teach both girls and boys), but it's incredibly rare to get more details about it. I would like it if anyone knows anything about women's presence during these particular golden times to enlighten me with their knowledge. Thank you in advance.
While waiting for any other answers (unfortunately, I can't write anything up on this right now), take a look at /u/sunagainstgold's answer in this previous thread on women during the Islamic Golden Age.
