However, in another video of why Hitler had to start ww2 (https://youtu.be/PQGMjDQ-TJ8), TIK presented that it is the Reich’s economy policy before the war that caused the death tolls. Such economic policy force Germany to start a war to plunder occupied countries of its wealth and resources (such as food and oil because they didn’t stockpile those in the first place), and when they didn’t have enough food, they put the inmates in the Holocaust camps and those civilians in occupied territories on hunger ration (basically feeding them little). That would explain the extermination through labor deaths and starvation happening in occupied territories, explaining the fact that the Nazis didn’t feed the inmates enough for their hard labor because they’re dicks but because they simply don’t have enough for everyone (doesn’t excuse them from causing those deaths from starvation). No. The Peak of the Holocaust was in 1942-1943. Christopher Browning stated that some 75% of the Holocaust's victims died in these two years. Do note that this was the period of time that the three Action Reinhard camps were active, and Browning also mentions Massacres carried out by the Germans at this time.
By late 1944, most of the Jews in Nazi Occupied Europe had been killed. Most people liberated by the West in German KLs were Non Jews. The reverse is actually true from what Peterson claims. Heinrich Himmler genuinely believed Nazi Propaganda about the Jews controlling the Allies, so he went behind Hitler's back and issued a stop order for the Final Solution in December 1944/January 1945. He also made negotiations with Count Bernadotte and the Red Cross, and had some Jewish Survivors transferred to Bergen Belsen, to serve as "hostages" in his negotiations. Thus, we have the SS destroying the Auschwitz Crematoria before withdrawing. Both to hide evidence of their crimes, and because they had fulfilled their purpose and were no longer needed.

Most Of the Jewish Holocaust happened in Eastern Europe, Poland, Ukraine, Belorussia, etc, where Jews lived. In addition to this, most of the Nazis' other victims, Soviet Civilians, Roma, Serbs, etc, also died in Eastern Europe. Pay close attention to Ukraine. Ukraine has historically been known as the Breadbasket of Europe. In WW1 and WW2, the Germans exploited it and robbed it of all Foodstuffs. Ukraine was also an important part of the USSR because of this, which was why the USSR purged Ukraine in the 1930s, to keep it subservient to them.
Simply put, Eastern Europe, especially Ukraine, had food surpluses. Nazi Policy in the east was to rob them of all Foodstuffs to feed the German Population. Starvation of the local population was a deliberate outcome of German Policy.
