Kinda necro-ing this post but, hi I’m a recent History major grad from UCLA. My best piece of advice is to double major in Computer Science/Engineering or Mathematics alongside your History degree. If you need to drop one, drop the History degree.

Else, build strong relationships with your professors and maintain a 4.0 to prepare for the Grad school grind; or start prepping for the LSAT if law is your goal.

If you go the academia route, pray you luck into a non-adjunct position quickly.
