This is a bit of a stupid question, but what exactly is a historical dictionary? I found a book called "a historical dictionary of Eritrea" and I'm not sure if I should get it
What book have you found most helpful/impactful as a historian and why?
I'm looking for books that are of similar style and quality to Fernand Braudel. I've read both of his major works on the Mediterranean and on the early modern era. Are there historians out there that are similar to him? Thanks!
