Is there any validity to the idea that the writers of the United States Constitution were at least partially inspired by the Iroquois' Great Law of Peace?

I've heard this claim several times, but I've never seen any concrete evidence presented either for or against the idea.

In summary for the answers over the years, direct evidence can be hard to find, but there are some documents and quotes which suggest that influence did exist. It depends on what you’d consider “concrete.”
