On a map, it seems as if he travelled past Paris to get to Agincourt. Was Paris not as important then or was there an important reason he travelled that far across France. I am assuming he landed at Calais or somewhere near there.
He didn't pass Paris, the battle took place in northern France near the village of Azincourt in Pas-de-Calais about 45 miles south of Calais. I see that searching 'Agincourt' on Google maps leads to an Agincourt near Nancy but this isn't where the battle was fought, search for 'Azincourt' instead.
Henry had landed near and after a siege captured the port of Harfleur in Normandy during the summer and was marching his army up to Calais (an English stronghold) for the winter when the French blocked his path leading to the battle.
