How often do historians work with archeologists and curators? Additionally, how much historical research is the 'field work' of uncovering new data (e.g. seeking out old manuscripts) versus analyzing already widely published data?

I am a historical researcher who doesn’t look at secondary sources.

I constantly look at primary research. Stuff constantly got overlooked. More access to information for all. Primarily.

Yeah I am working on a project on early settlers settling a county because of a man because there are a list of checkboxes all follow. Pattern. And I am related through family on the person wife.

No one is interested in how George Washington was connected to whiskey rebellioners right? I’m working on one case now.
